Birth Assistant Certification Program
Designed for midwifery students entering the Assist Phase of their training, as well as individuals interested in becoming a community birth assistant.
This hybrid program combines self-paced online learning with a hands on skills workshop to prepare participants for assisting in out of hospital births.

Saturday, September 26, 2026: 10:00 AM–4:00 PM
Sunday, September 27, 2026: 12:00 PM–4:00 PM
Tuition (included for enrolled Midwifery Students)

$400 non-refundable enrollment payment due by August 30, 2026

Prerequisites
Current BLS and NRP certification are strongly recommended before beginning work as a birth assistant. These certifications are not offered onsite as part of this program but we will be doing drills.
