Your interview is an opportunity for us to get to know one another. We'll discuss your goals, answer questions, and help determine whether our program is the right fit for you.
Step 4: Acceptance & Enrollment
If accepted, you'll receive enrollment instructions and access to complete your enrollment fee, student paperwork, and orientation materials before classes begin.

Step 1: Sign up for our Free Information Course
Before applying, we encourage all prospective students enroll in our free information course. It answers many of the most common questions about the founder, our philosophy, curriculum, costs, and what it's really like to be a student at DFW Community Birth School.
Step 2: Submit Your Application
Complete our online application and pay the $75 non-refundable application fee. Once we've reviewed your application, you'll be invited to schedule an admissions interview if you meet our initial requirements.
When Can I Start?
DFW Community Birth School follows a cohort-based admissions model, with new cohorts beginning every third learning session throughout the year.
Students begin and progress through the curriculum together, creating a supportive learning community while offering multiple opportunities each year to start your midwifery education.
New students may enroll at the beginning of a new cohort once all admissions requirements have been completed and space is available.

Admission Requirements
High school diploma or GED
Ability to attend required in-person skills evaluations and final examinations
Commitment to completing a clinical apprenticeship
Passion for community midwifery and lifelong learning
